Definition of GOOD MORNING
Good morning = HELLO
Use this before noon.
Definition of GOOD AFTERNOON
Good afternoon = HELLO
Use this from noon until approximately 5:00 p.m.
Definition of GOOD EVENING
Good evening = HELLO
Use this from approximately 5:00 p.m. to midnight.
Definition of GOOD NIGHT
Good night = GOODBYE
Use this from approximately 6:00 p.m. on. or when you leave work at the end of the workday.
Use this when:
– you go to bed at night (you say this to the members of your household), or
– you part with others in the evening.
Note: When you say, “Have a good morning,” (or afternoon, or evening) it means Goodbye.
